YouTube Create

A mobile editor for YouTube videos

YouTube Create is a video-editing app from Google LLC for people who want to make and prepare videos on an Android device. It suits creators working on YouTube content, including Shorts, as well as anyone looking for editing tools on their phone rather than a desktop computer.

Editing and publishing

The app brings video editing into a mobile workflow, so you can work with footage and sound before sharing a finished project on YouTube. Its focus is on making common creator tasks accessible without requiring a separate desktop editing setup. It is best suited to straightforward video projects; the supplied information does not establish a full set of professional editing controls.

What the listing tells you

YouTube Create is listed in the Video Players & Editors category and is published by Google LLC. Its Google Play rating is 3.6 out of 5, based on 19,144 ratings. That provides a useful snapshot of user feedback, though individual experiences can differ depending on a creator’s needs and device.

Before you choose it

The app has 5,000,000+ installs, so it has reached a broad audience of Android users. Consider whether a phone-based editing workflow fits the kind of videos you make: it may be a practical place to handle YouTube projects, while creators who need advanced desktop controls may prefer a more specialised editor. Check the Google Play listing for the current app details and availability.
