Real Drum electronic drums set

Play a drum kit on your screen

Real Drum electronic drums set turns an Android device into a set of virtual drums and cymbals. Tap the onscreen pieces to play beats, try out rhythms or practise without a physical kit. It may suit beginners exploring percussion as well as drummers who want a portable way to tap out ideas.

Practice and make it your own

The app includes lessons for learning drum patterns, along with different kit layouts and sounds to explore. The reference material also describes options for customizing kits with images and sounds, and support for recording or exporting performances. These tools can help when you want to move from practising a beat to saving something you have played.

What the Play Store numbers show

Real Drum electronic drums set is listed in the Music category and is developed by Kolb Apps. Its Google Play rating is 4.46 out of 5, based on more than 1.6 million ratings, with 100 million+ installs. Those figures indicate a large audience, though they do not guarantee that the app will fit every device or playing style.

A practical choice for rhythm experiments

A touchscreen cannot reproduce the feel of drumsticks on a full acoustic kit, but it offers an accessible way to try patterns and play wherever you have your phone or tablet. Consider the screen size and touch controls when deciding whether it works for longer practice sessions. If you want a virtual drum set for casual playing, lessons or quick musical sketches, Real Drum is designed for those uses.
